Bio

Lloyd is an accomplished photographer. His work has appeared in such publications as Audubon, Natural History, Birder’s World, Wildbird and Birding (ABA) magazines, the NY Times, NY Daily News, WWF Songbird calendars and various Audubon trail guides and newsletters to name a few. He’s one of two photographers being featured in an exhibit at the Newark Museum. The exhibit is “Skies Alive! Migration over the Garden State”.

Along with Don Riepe and Kevin Karlson, Lloyd runs the Jamaica Bay Shorebird Festival. It takes place every August.

He leads instructional photo tours in the NYC area as well as conductiong private lessons on both Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Contact him for rates.

Lloyd is also a well known birder residing in New York City. He has been an avid birder for the last 20+ years and has broadened his interests to include insects of all kinds. He also runs a rare bird alert – Metro Birding Briefs – to get the word out on rarities in real time.
